Air Senegal International will celebrate its first birthday on 23 February. In its first year of activity, the performance of the company was largely above the forecast. In an interview with the "Journal de l'Economie", the company's Managing Director cited the reasons that account for this success and also unveiled the company's plans for the years to come. The main development priorities are the founding of handling and catering companies, and of course, the inauguration of new air routes, such as the Paris route, as from end of March 2002.
